Pamela Yates, Ph.D.

Dr. Pamela Yates is a Registered Forensic Psychologist, having received her Doctorate in Psychology in 1996.

Dr. Yates provides a range of services to adults, including individuals in conflict with the law, victims of crime, public safety personnel, and first responders. Her clinical practice includes treatment for post-traumatic stress, addictions, trauma and abuse, violence, concerning sexual behaviour, and forensic psychological risk assessment.

Dr. Yates takes an evidence-based, positive psychological approach that draws on a range of therapeutic practices and methods, including motivational approaches, trauma-informed Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. Services are tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Dr. Yates is an active member of numerous professional organizations and a long-time volunteer in her professional and personal communities. She is a recipient of numerous awards, has published extensively, and provides training and education across Canada and around the world.
